UAE Embassy Celebrated 48th UAE National Day in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia- 2019



2nd December 2019 Kuala Lumpur:  United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador To Malaysia today celebrated the UAE's 48th National Day Anniversary at JW Marriot Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
Numbers of dignitaries including Prominent Malaysian Royalties, VIP's Government Official, Agencies, Business Community, Prominent Corporate Figures, fellow by UAE's in Malaysia Grace by Guest Honour Datuk Seri Haji Salahudin  Bin Ayob, Minister of Agriculture & Agro Based industry and estimate 600 guests at the celebration were serve various Arabian dishes, including whole-lamb grill and Arabic coffee.

Led by H.E. Khalid Ghanim AlGhaith Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates in Kuala Lumpur, the event featured launch of the Mohammed Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, the first graduate-level research-based artificial intelligence university in the world.Bilateral ties between the UAE and Malaysia has been further strengthened by recent high-level visits of leaders of both countries. The Ambassador also mention that Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah visited the UAE in June, followed by the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's visit to Malaysia in July.

The UAE Ambassador  said this year is a special year for UAE-Malaysia bilateral relations as the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah are currently in the UAE as special guests attending the 48th National Day celebrations in Abu Dhabi. on  Monday, the royal couple is scheduled to attend a UAE National Day celebration at Zayed Sports City, followed by a reunion of Royal Military Academy Sandhurst organised by Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.   


The ambassador noted that the UAE's values stem from the country's founder, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.National Day in the UAE commemorates the day in 1971 when six of the seven emirates—Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, and Umm Al Quwain—became one under Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan with Abu Dhabi serving as the capital. The seventh emirate, Ras Al Khaimah, joined the union a few months. later Guests were also shown a video presentation of the establishment of the UAE, its developments and achievements over the years.
