Turkish Airlines KL Tower International Towerthon Challenge 2019

Kuala Lumpur  7th March 2019 - Menara Kuala Lumpur is an iconic tower in Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia.Being recognized as the tallest telecommunication tower in Southeast Asia and the seventh tallest in the world ,KL Tower once again is organizing the most awaited prestigious and internationally acclaimed extreme sports event for 2019 , Turkish Airlines KL Tower International Towerthon Challenge 2019 , on Sunday, 21 April 2019 , starting as early as 5.00am in the morning.

This annual event will be held with the objectives of providing opportunities to participants who want to test their physical and mental endurance and to challenge themselves to who want to test their physical and mental endurance and to challenge themselves to conquer the top of KL Tower.

After 17 years of organizing this prestigious race.it has been positioned as one of the signature sporting events for Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia as a whole. This adventurous event is also coincides with KL Tower's aspiration as a must visit destination for culture Adventure and Nature activities.

Special for this year ,the event will start at the bus parking aeea which is about 200m distane from the lobby . the flag off  venue changed from the open space parking at downhill of kl Tower (about 800m distance from the lobby )to the bus parking area to give participants more focus and challenge on staircase climbing .thus participants will spend more energy to climb 2,058 steps reaching up to 288m

We will flag -off the 1st wave consists of ELITE and professional runners to compete for a champion trophy before Man Open category flag-off. The top 100 best timing fining finisher will win a special 100 Finisher t-shirt.this year , the event is opened to all Malaysian and foreigners and it is limited to 4,000 participants only.6 categories will be contested and they are ,men open (18 to 40 years),Men Veteran (41 years and above ), Woman open (18 to 40 years ) Woman veteran (41 years

and above) , boys junior (13 to 17 years ) and girls Junir (13 to 17 years ) the entry fee for Malaysia Men or Women is RM90.00 Malaysia Boys or Girls junior is RM50.00 and non -Malaysian RM130.00

All the participants will stand a chance to win the overall cash prizes worth RM44,600.00 the highest ranked Malaysia in the Men open and women open category will entitle for RM2,000.00 each and also will represent paid for by menara kuala  Lumpur .
