5th December 2019 Kuala Lumpur :  is celebrate one of the most significant days for all Thailand, the 5th December. Officially National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand, the 5th December is also the birthday anniversary of The Late King His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great and Thailand’s Father’s Day.On the auspicious occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Thailand on Thursday 5th December 2019, the  His Excellency Mr. Narong Sasitorn  Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia.hosted a reception on 5th December 2019 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.Approximately 1000 persons attended the event including Prominent Royalties, VVIPs, also present were distinguished guests from the public and private sectors, members of the diplomatic corps and international organizations including political leader, industries leader, community leaders,High government Official in Malaysia staffs of the Royal Thai Embassy in Kuala lumpur  and the Thai Community in Malaysia.



Grace By Chief Guest YB Baru Bian Minister Works Malaysia with H.E Narong Sasitorn Ambassador of Thailand to Malaysia fellow by insightful speech “In the spirit of ASEAN cooperation, Malaysia and Thailand continue to be strategic neighbours and partners in the areas of political-security, economic and socio-cultural. “Over the years, our two countries have witnessed frequent exchanges of high-level visits and shared the remarkable progress made in various areas,” he said.


At present Thailand is Malaysia’s 5th largest trading partner while within ASEAN, Thailand is Malaysia’s second-largest trading partner.H.E Narong reaffirmed the excellent, warm and close bonds of friendship and brotherly ties between the two countries.“Thai looks forward to working closely with the newly elected Malaysia government with continued emphasis on enhancing close bilateral relations and ensuring strong economic ties with Malaysia” he said.“We greatly hope that Thailand and Malaysia will benefit further from robust economic activities and active people-to-people exchanges with continued integration within the ASEAN Community, especially with Thailand’s excellent role as ASEAN Chair for 2019,” he said.



In recent years, both sides have had high-level meetings on various occasions which lay some excellent groundwork for even stronger relations in the future. I would like to take this auspicious opportunity to reiterate Malaysia readiness to cooperate with Thailand in all fields of mutual interest particularly in the areas of agriculture, solar technology, food beverages, energy, tourism and labour.”
