Petaling Jaya, 22 February 2020 – Today marked an unforgettable experience for 73-year-old Mr. Wong Ngai Chee. On 13th August 2019, his daughter, a loyal Quill Automobiles customer, purchased a BMW X1 for him as a surprise gift. Today, the retiree from Setia Alam was drawn as the Grand PrizeWinner of the Quill Automobiles’ X Marks The Future Contest, driving home a shiny new BMW Z4 sDrive30i M Sport at the culmination of the prize giving ceremony held at Quill 9 in Petaling Jaya earlier today. Launched at a ceremony in July 2019, the giveaway was initiated as part of the luxury car dealership’s new showroom expression, marking its milestone with a giveaway of the classic roadster. The contest, which ran from July 2019 to January 2020 drew over 3,000 entries over a span of 6 months.

The lucky winners were drawn from a pool of over 3,000 entries over a span of 6 months.  The first and second runners up received an exclusive cabin-size Tumi luggage worth RM2,690 and a VIP dining experience at Le Petit Chef by Elements KL worth RM1,998 respectively, with the grand prize winner receiving a  BMW Z4 SDrive30i MSport worth RM479,800.

At the prize giving ceremony draw today, Dealer Principal Alex Tang and a team of auditors ensured complete transparency and accuracy of the results. Dato’ Michael Ong, Group Executive Director ofthe Quill Group of Companies was on hand to make the grand draw, eventually drawing Mr. Wong’sname from the ballot box. He drives home in the All-New BMW Z4 roadster, which was only introduced last year. A premium roadster, the All-New BMW Z4 is capable of hitting the 0-100km/h mark in just 5.4 seconds.
