MALAYSIA, 25 November 2019 – Lenovo (HKSE: 992) (ADR: LNVGY), the world’s leading PC manufacturer today kicks-off
their initiative in Transforming Workplace with the launch of the Lenovo
ThinkBook 14 and 15. These new line of ThinkBooks cater to small and medium enterprises
(SMEs) that are budget-conscious but still want devices that are mobile,
flexible, inclusive and with the high quality of a Think device. A new study by Lenovo shows that SME employers are still behind in offering these
solutions – desktops persist as the primary device for 73% of employees, while
fewer than 25% can access cloud-based tools that could enable more diverse
working styles. With
millennials and Gen Z making up nearly 60% of the workforce today, these
technologically savvy employees often expect companies to offer them “go
anywhere” PC options.
More than a quarter of Asian SME employees have displayed an interest in
exploring more form factors and types of devices such as 2-in-1s and tablets in
the workplace.

are always on the go. They enhance user experience and provide more flexibility
to young workforces, allowing them to shift seamlessly between work and

“SMEs should

come,” said Varinderjit

more mobile and flexible at work in general, and it is up to SME
decision-makers to make informed decisions on which solutions will best meet

employees at SMBs, we have introduced ThinkBook 14 and ThinkBook 15,
business-oriented laptops that balance design and performance.”
