Lazada Malaysia Brings Raya Fashion Runway to Shoppers via in-app Livestream

The LazAda Style Fashion show is a prelude to Lazada’s month-long Raya campaign, which begins with Women’s Festival on 25 April

KUALA LUMPUR, 25 April 2019 – Shoppers from across the nation tuned in to watch Lazada Malaysia’s first ever in-app livestreamed fashion show, LazAda Style. Audiences were able to add products to their shopping carts in real-time as models strutted down the runway wearing contemporary interpretations of Raya fashion. 

Featuring homegrown labels such as Fazbulous by Fazura, Mawarred and Rumah Kebaya Bangsar, several outfits were paired with curated selections of HABIB jewellery, ICE and Daniel Wellington watches as well as Carlo Rino and BONIA accessories and handbags. Adding to the festivities were powerhouse vocalists Dayang Nurfaizah, De Fam and Aisyah Aziz.

Andrew Gnananantham, Lazada Malaysia’s Chief Marketing Officer kicked off the event with highlights of Lazada’s month-long Raya campaign, beginning with the 24-hour Women’s Festival on the 25th of April. Themed LazRaya Together-gether, Lazada Malaysia will also be introducing weekly offers for the different product categories such as health and beauty, household items, electronics and travel items.

 Models on the runway donned the latest designs of Fazbulous by Fazura to showcase Raya fashion looks, infused with a contemporary flair.


   Heads turned as models strut down the runway with Rumah Kebaya Bangsar's line up of baju raya.

       Mawarred presented a unique twist to traditional Raya womenswear in its latest collection.
